A cold, wet & lazy Sunday....

And completed just 1 LO (it was sitting on the table for the past 2 days, cause i didn't want to rush into completing it so soon), and am loving the outcome of it all. When i started scrapping, always thought that i should be finishing the LO the very day i started. Now i come to realise that if i have it half completed, i would always go back to look at it and add bits here and there, and i enjoy this slow process. Sometime, before i sleep, i would think about the LO that i just done, and how i can add to it making it special, and personal and making it sort of "my style". So here it is, title - "Why this Face baby?"

As Sunday afternoon slowly slips by with rain pouring ever so heavy, it's just gloomy, but a look at Kaylen today (he was in a HAPPY mood cause looked right at the camera since a long time), I'm feeling nice & warm. It's good enough for me at least to see him all cheery up and yes, he knows what a cold & dull weather today is cause he got up from his morning nap, just wanting only to laze even more. Take a look at him...

He is now taking his afternoon nap , yes for a 15 mth old lil one, Kaylen is still taking naps twice a day and a total of at least 3 to 4 hrs, and still goes to bed on time by 9.30/10pm and sleeps through till 6plus7 in the morning. So once he is up later, we'll be heading down to Ikea for dinner and of course getting storage stuff for my ever growing scrap stuff. And guess would be starting on a new LO of my wedding pics, and yes i just dug up an unfinished mini album which was my 1st for Kaylen and only did a couple of pages, and so i thought that i should really finish it.
Alright then, i'm going to enjoy what's left of my sunday!!!! Hope you have fun!!

We'll be heading here....

We are so going here this year....

It will be Kaylen's 1st "official" lantern festival. Kaylen was only 4 mths old when it was the Mooncake festival last year, we held a mini gathering at my parents place, hung up loads of lanterns and had Tenpayaki outdoors. But this year at 15 mths, it would be fun for him to really experience the beautiful giant lanterns at the Chinese Gardens. Jayce says it's mummy's idea cause I'm such a "hello kitty" lover at my age (don't you just love this cat). Yes yes, i have my fair share of hello kitty collectibles when i was younger (i can remember the killer queues at Mac's for the Hello Kitty plush dolls, cause i was part of that queue..), and i went before when Chinese Gardens had their Hello Kitty Themed lantern festival and i loved the lanterns. So when we go next week (hope for good weather cause it's just raining crazy for the past week), Kaylen would like it. We are ready to dig into our festive boxes (yes, Jayce stores our home festive decorations into different labelled boxes and in one of them, it's 2 lanterns we got Kaylen last year). This year, we will not be going as a couple like how we would always be, but with our precious lil one...+ my brother & future Sis in law (Jianxi says she wants to go with Kaylen...Bro you should get the hint, cause they go every year without fail with their paper lanterns, can you imagine 2 adults???) + new additions - my good old parents. They never go much places with us especially for festival like this, but since it's kay's official 1st, they love to come along.

So we are very much looking forward to this!!!

Have a happy sunday!!

I'm up and awake

Can you believe this? I woke up at 3am in the morning and thought why don't i just scrap. Now it's 4.35am and i just completed my challenge LO for MWL - Aida's August Cover It challenge. Jayce was real sweet to keep me company while i scrap and for people like us who work alot would think that we are crazy to be up so early. At least my mom would think so cause she is always telling us to go to bed when Kaylen does to gain sleeping time. I always think that we never have enough time to do stuff we like. Time just passes by so quickly each day at work, and at home, so where do i ever have time to scrap? For me, even if it's 1/2 hr, or 45 mins, it's good time for scrapping, even if it means picking out photos for the next LO, or chosing the PP which would go with the photo, i need not be scrapping the whole time. It can just be as simple as looking through my stash to see what i have and not used.

So here's my take to MWL's challenge - "My Spring Angel"

My RAK is still open for takes and come round and leave me a comment!
I'm off for now and what's left of my sleeptime...have a happy Wednesday guys!

RAK anyone?

It's been a long time since i organized my scrapping stuff, and no matter how i plan to pack and organise my ever growing stash, i can never ever ensure that i properly place them at places where i can easily see them. So there i was digging away and came to realise that I'm doing so much injustice to my supplies. I have this thing for owls, birds, trees, butterflies and by just packing my scrap supplies this afternoon, i can see that I'm just crazy over them...i have many supplies with birds (i'm waiting patiently for Hambly's new birdcage overlay) and butterflies so I though why not gather a RAK for someone out there...just leave me a comment on what you are crazy about at the moment, and i'll do my random pick this coming friday. Here is a snippet of the RAK (did some butterfly punch out with my latest butterfly punch from Carla Craft of my fave scraps).

Finally i finished putting on the final touches of a very special album for a very special lil girl out there. It's here 1st birthday next month...

Enjoy the rest of your wet Sunday!!

I got myself one of this...

Finally it has arrived in Singapore, and i got myself one. For someone who is not very into high tech stuff, this is a big leap into getting such a device. All i needed was a handphone that takes pictures , sms and makes phone calls, it's good enough for me. But having a lil brother that is always having the latest gadgets, i was hooked onto iphone immediately. He got me all excited and so what the heck!

So i had my iphone delivered to the office today...

Just going to have fun figuring out how to use this baby of mine...have a great weekend ahead!

You know it's LOVE

What can be happier than for 2 people to be madly in love. For 2 people whom i know best, and love lots, i'm the happiest when they are going to spend the rest of their lives together and I'm talking about my kiddo brother and my future sis in law. They are getting hitched (ROM) at the end of this year and as we all prepare for the happiest occasion in our family. 2 different people from 2 different countries , they find their life together and a bright future ahead for both these young individuals. These are fun, young loving people whom i love alot and i cannot be happier to see them building their lives together and a family of their own to build as they walk together in their marriage. These lovely photos were taken by my brother in law who does a great job and he makes a very good photographer indeed www.windmillphotography.biz

So to Yixi & Jianxi, i'm wishing you guys all the best to your lives together, and i love you guys! Be happy!

Cheerios!
