Whenever they meet...

She'll be all over him, holding on to his hands, following closely behind. He speaks to her in english, and she speak in a crisp taiwanese chinese (& it's super good mandarin i say), and somehow they are able to communicate to each other each time they meet. She's Lotus, Kay's cousin from LA, and they'll of the same age (Lotus's is exactly 4 months younger than he is, and she's a Mid's Autumn Day's baby). Each time she visits, we'll always go see her, and this is the 3rd time they're meeting each other and this time for Chinese New Year, and hopefully I'll get the chance to bring him for a holiday to Disneyland in LA, and we'll be able to hang out again and for both of them to have fun.

She's definitely full of energy, loves boys (yes really into playing with boys ONLY), and she even tried to pull Kay into the lift with her when she had to leave early. This is how much she enjoys playing with him. She's a joy, and loves so much to be infront of the camera.

I'll be fun having them to meet each other whenever she's in town, and time flies by just so quickly cause i got to meet her for the very 1st time when she's only 3 months old, and so tiny, and now just look at how much she's grown.

This is my boy...

• who's turning 3 in 3 months time
• who's constantly making me treasure my hours & minutes i have with him
• who's scared of almost any thing that's noisy, loud, and definitely hates lion dance and anything to do with Chinese New Year
• who's making me think that he's growing up in another phase of his life, gone is terrible 2, and i'm still trying to put my finger to what i would call the stage of a soon-to-be 3 year old.
• who likes to be "kaylen the dog" whenever he is not "kaylen the boy". He goes on all fours woofing away, begging me for imaginary food, and just this morning showing me how he poops, and says to me "mommy smell!!!" Arrrgggghhhh. He will come to me for big "doggy hugs".
• who starts to tell me at night before bedtime "good night kaylen backside", "good night mummy backside", "sweet dreams mommy". & when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he answers me softly "wuf you" when i tell him "love u kaylen" before drifting back to sleep
• who cannot stop sticking out his butt, and at the same time holding to both his hands in front of him
• who hates to have his photo taken (it's just so trying just to get a photo of him without having him to scream into our ears)
• who loves to eat "meat meat", "ice cream", "Yakult", "Frosties with cold fresh milk", and is starting to pick out his green

This is Kaylen for you, the love of my life, and I can't imagine what my life would be like without him.

This is for Kay for Valentine's Day. Created this album for him to look back upon, knowing just how much I love him, and that one day he will have his very own Valentine to be celebrating with. This is why i titled it" Someday..."

Knowing that someday he will be that special someone to a girl, that someday he will know how it feels like to be in love, that someday he will be buying flowers & chocolates, that someday will come. But for now, he's my valentine. Using mainly products Making Memories Valentine's Day series, and Hambly overlays as the pages.....and as you can see, I'm crazy over pleating...

With only days away from Chinese New Year, & Valentine's Day, I would like to take this chance to send all my dear friends and blog readers all the best as we usher in a new year, and for all you lovebirds out there, have a great time!!!

Till we celebrate the festive seasons, I'm still not finished with spring cleaning, and preparing for all things Chinese New Year, but i guess I will settle for just a neat & clean home by tomorrow at least....this is just sitting pretty on the coffee table....one of the few stuff i managed to have done but not before i try to pry off the toffees from Kay's fingers (not once but a million times.....)

Celebrate L.O.V.E

You got to love February. It's got to be one of my favourite months cause it's time for LOVE. So definitely, I'm enjoying myself as I create LO's for Valentine's day, and for my very special lil guy - a LOVE mini album I titled "Someday", and how can i not do a LOVE LO for Kay.

He's the love of my life, and it's the 2nd Valentine's Day we have together, and for this Valentine's day I have the boys with me for the whole entire day, so we're just going to everywhere together (it's also 1st day of the chinese lunar new year). It's good enough for me.

Too caught up with the everyday life

Life has just gotten busier for me and i can't believe that it's already the 2nd month of a brand new year....where did January disappear to? Did this month just fly by me just that quickly. I guess when i'm so caught up with the everyday life that i fail to just stop for awhile. January has been a great month for me, and indeed a very special one cause I started class at The Scrapbook Carton, meet new faces, and enjoyed myself. Thank you all for being great company, and i surely hope that each of liked your LO as much as how much i enjoyed myself creating the work for you.

Life at work has just doubled for me, and with all the new directions for the company, it's both exciting and challenging as we go about making new changes. It's not going to be easy but at least i know i'm putting in every effort i have. There will bond to be differences but working in a community that is like one big family, I tend to put the differences aside, and just concentrate on working to my best.

Indeed for the past weeks, not only is the immense hot weather creating havoc in our lifes by rendering my lil guy with flu, high fever, and now past 3 days of diarrhoea sort of stools and a lost of appetite, and totally very little energy, I've been worried sick, and only a trip to the doctor to ensure that Kay's gotten the proper medication to stop the nasty runs. I hope he will get well real soon, and for me to have him bouncing up and down the sofa, or driving crazy around the house in his mobile car, anything to see him smile & laugh again. We've been giving him extra loving care, loads of hugs & kisses, and being just that much more patient with his whines & cries.

So with the everyday busy life and trying to catch up watching on my now favourite show - "Hi my Sweetheart" (yes stacy it is super addictive), I've taken a break from scrapping for the last week (yes i have a to-do list for scrapping, and it looks like it's starting to collect dust). Working on each of my project at the slowest possible pace, so it's looking like i need some catching up very soon.
