Kay has drawn himself right next to me( the one on the left), and the rest are grandma, and grandpa + there is even a rock with a face he says. His drawings has been like this since he started drawing, and gradually i see from the beginning of no smiles, to now some smiles on our potato faces from to time, and sometimes we even have ears (his ears are drawn as straight lines to the side). So when i saw this drawing he has done just recently, I had to scrap it......
Title : Potato Heads
Used latest Pink Paislee's Daily Junque papers, and Epherma packs, and a mix
of Hometown summer chipboards...

Here is a drawing of yours truly with no hair this time round....and this round Kay has started giving us matching potato bodies as well.....and he says that extra line drawn at the eyes was BLOOD....i've one very creepy kid...

I've kept most of his art work either drawn with crayons, paint or pencils, and I'm going to put together one mini with all his art work. Think it's the best way to create memories of what art is to him at this age. I bet it's going to be so cool when he looks back when he's lots older.
I have been trying to be scrappy too lately, working through a mini album for a colleague who's left us to embark on her journey of married life back in Indonesia, and she'll be coming back again in May before her marriage to send us invites, so this would make an ideal gift of photos of us taken with her before she left. It will make good memory keepsake. Here's a peek.....using my much hoarded October Afternoon papers.....

I miss scrapping more, but at this point of time, I'm just happy with scrapping whenever the creative juices come by, and definitely when I'm not too poofed out with the everyday life.
