This is happening soon!!

I definitely missed it out again this time round, but i'm sure many of you have already signed up for this one of a kind adventure whenever Celine Navarro visits, and she's teaching again with Karine at Made with Love.

I'm just feeling bumped & drained, and just hoping that today will just go by quickly enough for me to just go back home. Kay's down with flu, slightly sore throat, and fever since yesterday, and with me being busy with dinner with our overseas supplier, I've my mom and Jayce watching him, and by the time I got home, he's already asleep, but not for long cause from 1am to this morning, he was waking up every hour crying, feverish, and it goes the same for me, trying my best to make him feel better. So you can just imagine the night we had, so i'm just wanting to be going back home to our home, for Kay to be more relaxed, and hopefully tonight would be better.
Looks like to be squeezing some scrap time would be tough these few nights unless i regain my energy level, i'll just take it slow tonight, and see how it goes.
Have a beautiful Tuesday!

This is how much fun i had.....

even if it means having only 20mins at Made with Love for their 6th Birthday Bash. With all that girl power going on, you can just imagine. For me, it's the 1st of meeting these fabulous & super talented ladies and being on the team is like a dream come true as I started out this journey idolising their work, and at awe at how some of them creates their master piece, and each of these ladies are as unique as the layouts they churn out each time, and i'm glad i have the chance to just say hello.

I glad i'm part of this team, and given the chance to create and share, and to learn from these more experienced scrappers whom had started out their journey way way before me.

I like this photo of us.

Yes to the upcoming DT crop, i'm so looking forward to this, and and definitely a much longer time chatting with them. Till then.....
How have your Monday been?

In the mood....

For scrapping of course, and my very 1st canvas done , and yes it turned out super sweet, and i like how my brother's wedding photo had all that nature background, and it goes so well with Basic Grey's "Nook & Pantry" paper i choose to match. This is definitely not the only canvas project i would do, definitely creating one for Kaylen soon. This project is just all things pretty from laces, to swirls, to Prima's fabric bloom.

Had the time to also work on another LO for Kay where i had these series of photographs taken when i'm with him at home in October, and they're just all super smiley faces. Love them!! I happen to notice that recently my LO's are getting simpler, don't ask me why but i just scrap with the mood i'm in lately, and i like how that sometimes with little embellishments, it still looks great!!!

Materials used:

Thanks for all that concern for Kay & his episode of the ugly ulcers, he's getting better, feeling better in mood, sleeping slightly better, and hopefully by this weekend, the ulcers would have already be gone. Up next for me, are still the X'mas gifts i'm trying to complete, and Kay's mini album "12 days in Oct" whereby i'll be documenting my 12 days with him. Fun!!!
Have a good Wednesday!!!

He

  • not very keen on being at the zoo which i believe any lil one would love. Not much of smiles (i wonder why?) throughout the whole of Sunday morning at the zoo

  • likes the red wagon at the zoo more than anything else found there (hmmm?? and that's my lil guy for you). He was fighting with Jayce over the pulling of this red wagon, and yes i've gotten myself a very strong lil guy

  • doesn't like anything that moves especially this carousel. He was tense ,quiet, and the only kid on the carousel. You should see me asking him when we approached the carousel, as to which animal he wanted to be sitting on, i practically went one full circle, from the eagle, to the lion, to the zebra, to the ostrich, and for each of the question i asked, he said "No", till we came down to the REINDEER. He just learnt of the reindeer just 1 day ago while putting up the X'mas tree, and he just got extremely attached to our brush like looking Reindeer (i'll tell you about this story the next time when we've gotten back our reindeer cause Kay brought him for a ride in the car, and left it at gram's place, and take a photo of his new found friend)

  • doesn't really like taking photos much these days, and you can tell from this photo that mommy's the only person dying to have our family photo taken by suddenly appearing in photos...my brother hates me for this...

  • likes putting up decorations on the X'mas tree, and almost everything at the bottom 2 layers of the tree was decorated by Kay (with daddy's supervision cause most of the decorations are made with glass). He went "Hmmm, maybe......" everytime he took on 1 decoration be it a glass globe, or glass droplet, and throughout the whole hour with me & jayce, all we could hear was just these words, and once he found the right spot, we got an YES from him. He loves Christmas as much as i do, i guess, and this is Kay's 3rd Christmas, and got to get to scrapping something about him this Christmas for sure.

  • looked at this LO when it was half finished on my desk, and said "kay kay". This LO is for Made with Love, and it's just pretty things you get from American Craft's latest LetterBox series, and i just love their range of chipboards, and with this i made my own simple metal embellishment

materials used:
paper/chipboards/brads/letters - American Craft

All available at Made with Love

  • reminded me when he said "mommy, kay kay pack....and proceeded to my scrap desk to literally re-arrange my stuff on the scrap desk, and yes i had on my desk the items picked out for a RAK giveaway. I've got 2 RAKS ready, so just leave me a comment by this 13th Friday. Here's my 2 RAKS....

RAK 1 - Basic Grey's Lemonade papers + Making Memories Brad Set + American Craft Elements set + 1 diecut chipboard

  • RAK 2 - Making Memories Papers + Jillbean Alpha stickers + Epoxy Stickers + Jenni Bowlin Note Book + Hambly's rub ons

I'm looking forward to seeing Kay again cause he's not feeling too good (the attack of the ugly ulcers again, and he's one lil one which keeps getting these mouth ulcers, and the fact that he just recovered from one nasty episode last week, to now having another, and the fact that we have always been giving him loads of water and juices to keep him hydrated. It's going to be a good few days of whinning which starts already since last night till this morning , and he's letting me know that he's clearly in pain. My poor baby.....lots of cuddles & hugs, and yes more more water.

Have a good Monday you all!!

It's been enriching....

My blog journey has been enriching, and never would I guessed that for someone like myself would ever own a blog, and much less be faithful to keeping regular post since past diary keeping efforts seems to always fail me. My blog is like a santury to me when i need an outlet to express my thoughts, or share with you (yes to each and everyone out there who visits my blog, i'm truly thankful) my life, my family, and my passion for scrapbooking.

I must say that i see myself blogging for the longest time, and i like how the blog is just "ME".

I'm back to having some time to scrap, and this i did at 2plus this morning with the rain beating hard at my windows (i love the rain!!!), and just totally having my time quietly by myself when the boys are fast asleep, and i could go on till about 4am usually, but Kay decided to just cry out for me an hour after i started off. So here's my piece with Basic Grey's latest - "Nook & Pantry" series, and I love Bo Bunny's latest wordy rub ons's (ain't them cute, i regretted that i only bought 1 sheet cause i actually intended to use it on my brother's wedding LO's, but too hard to resist, and had to snip some for Kay's LO).

Title" Sweet Oct"

rub ons: hambly's, bo bunny, pink paislee

Hope to have it finished during this weekend since i've already prepared the base colour & glimmer mist it too!!

Wish List

Can't believe that it's going to be Christmas soon in a another months time, and there is so much things to be doing around the home as we get closer my most favourite time of the year.

This week has been super tiring with the fact that there's been late night entertainment of the overseas supplier, and been staying over at my mom's, not having much time to spent with Kaylen, so these few stuff that i've picked for my wish list does perk me up at the end of the day.

*these lovely vintage music sheet tealight candles would look so lovely for Christmas (done our Christmas shopping of the X'mas decorations last weekend at Ikea, and we've picked up just some X'mas star lights for Kaylen's room this year, 2 felted red hanging star light which would go somewhere in our living room (you won't imagine the price i got them for since it's from their last year's series - at just $2.90 per star felted light where before they were going at $25.00 each...just had to grab them), X'mas napkins & table covers for the party, rolls of wrapping papers)

* love the pleats on this simple cushion cover, being toying at the idea of having my cusion covers changed after having them for the past 4 years, and they're still looking good & their hand sewn by my mother-in-law, but the thought of having new stuff for X'mas just perks me up. Looks like i'm finding a reason to visit the newly renovated Spotlight at Plaza Singapura soon for new fabrics or either their large range of pretty cusion covers.

*love this vintage necklace , and lately i've been eyeing at everything turquoise in colour. Strange..

* I need a clutch bag for the upcoming weddings next year, and i'm hunting around and i don't need anything too classy, but just modern looking is good enough for me. Drools....

I'm off to be planning as to how i want to be decorating the home this year for X'mas, we're having them earlier this year (the tree would be up this coming weekend cause Jayce is off from work), and we need all the time this year to put things up around the house, and to pack up my scrap desk with minimal things since our dinning table is usually decorated for X'mas , and surely i'll be gathering more X'mas decoration stuff since Robinson's a great place for such stuff, and planning Kay's x'mas gift (grandpa has already booked to get him a good sized motorcycle that he can ride on & moves...hmmmm)
Have a good Tuesday!!
